GoalBond ("we", "us", or "our") operates the GoalBond mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: name, email address, and authentication credentials managed securely by Supabase Auth
Profile information: display name, profile photo, workout type, fitness level
Check-in photos: live photos taken within the app for daily check-ins
Usage data: streaks, partnerships, check-in history
Device information: device type, operating system, app version
Communications: messages sent between partners within the app

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the GoalBond service
To facilitate partnerships and streak tracking between users
To send push notifications about check-in status and streaks
To display your profile to potential partners
To improve and optimize the app

4. Photo Storage

Check-in photos are stored securely on Supabase cloud infrastructure. Photos are only visible to you and your active partner.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

Supabase — database and storage infrastructure
Firebase — push notification delivery
Google Play / Apple App Store — app distribution and billing
RevenueCat — subscription and payment processing

6. Automated Processing

Our backend infrastructure uses automated processing to deliver app features including streak calculations, window resets, and notification triggers.

7. Your Rights (PIPEDA — Canada)

Under Canadian privacy law you have the right to:

Access your personal data
Correct inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Withdraw consent at any time

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, most data is deleted immediately. Some backup copies may be retained for a limited period before automatic permanent deletion.

9. Children's Privacy

GoalBond is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us at privacy@goalbond.app and we will delete it immediately.

10. Security

We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data in transit and at rest. Our infrastructure is hosted on Supabase.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
